HRDC Chosen as the First Ever Montana Recipient of a Special Grant from the U.S. Federal Transit Administration (FTA)

This grant, part of the Areas of Persistent Poverty (AoPP) program, will enhance public transit services in Bozeman, MT.

The $451,500 in awarded funding will help HRDC and the Montana Department of Transportation develop a long-term financing plan for Streamline and conduct a comprehensive route planning analysis. By integrating climate change, racial equity, and environmental justice considerations, HRDC aims to create a sustainable and inclusive transit system for everyone in our community. This initiative will provide better transportation solutions for low-income areas, improving access to essential resources, employment opportunities, education, healthcare, and public services.
